QUALITY POLICY

 

⦁ The Children’s Hospital Karachi (CHK) has a great focus to dispense quality services at every stage through the Quality Management System while complying with all applicable regulatory requirements and up-to-date medical services that allow us to improve the health of the patients.
⦁ CHK has adopted the five (5) domains (S.T.E.E.P.) of Health Care Quality as the quality policy for our Quality Management system to facilitate performance excellence:
⦁ Safe: Avoiding harm to patients from care that is intended to help them.
⦁ Timely: Reducing delays for both those who receive and those who give care. Focus on timely care.
⦁ Effective: Providing services based on scientific knowledge to all.
⦁ Equitable: Providing justifiable care regardless of their gender, disabilities and cultural or religious diversity with the help of our competent doctors, specialists and nurses
⦁ Patient-Centered: Providing care that is respectful of and responsive to individual patient preferences, needs, and values and ensuring that patient values guide all clinical decisions.
⦁ As a healthcare organization, CHK aspire to be the hospital of choice in Karachi and be recognized for having the most satisfied patients, the best possible clinical outcomes, and the best physicians, specialists and employees. Effective mechanisms are in place to monitor and measure all CHK’s activities so that smarttech achieves its commitment to continual improvement and customer satisfaction.
